Festival Info Volunteer
If you are interested in volunteering at the festival please get in touch via info@englishfolkexpo.com.
Our volunteering roles include:
Front of House – welcoming our audiences to venues and answering really important questions like “Where is the bar?” and “I really enjoyed that, who else do you think I should go and see?”
Social Media – Assisting our Marketing Manager in taking photos and creating content for / populating our social media platforms over the festival weekend.
Workshops & Sessions – if you’re a budding musician yourself perhaps you could volunteer at some of our workshops and sessions? Welcome the participants to the venue and then take part in the workshop or session yourself.
By volunteering at the festival you get to see lots of live music for free. After the main shows have finished you can relax in the Festival Club. AND you’ll get to wear and keep a coveted Manchester Folk Festival t-shirt!
Our volunteers return year after year so they must really enjoy the experience – but we have room for new volunteers so get in touch.
