At Manchester Folk Festival you have the option of buying a Festival Wristband with access to the entire programme, or for individually priced gigs.

2025 Festival Wristbands are now on sale.  The Festival Wristband is the best way to take advantage of the full breadth of our programme, dipping in where you feel, with full access to every gig from Thursday to Saturday. Make new discoveries and enjoy old favourites with the freedom that the Wristband offers.

**Information on how to collect your festival wristband will be available closer to the event and will be sent by email**

If you can’t make the whole festival weekend, you can also buy tickets for individual concerts. Individual tickets will be announced and released later in 2024. This is also the more affordable way to attend the festival, however your access is limited to the ticketed concert. If you plan on attending 4 or more gigs, the Festival Wristband is more cost effective.

All of this year’s events are unreserved standing and/or seating. Please arrive early for the best seats, especially if you are attending as a large group.

Booking early guarantees you the best price, and tickets on the door are more expensive than advance booking. We promise that there will be no last-minute price-drops, so you can be confident that the price you pay now won’t be reduced later.

All tickets are subject to a 10% booking fee when booking via our festival ticket partner Eventim. Booking fees at individual venues may vary.

There is one ticket price for each show.
Essential Companion discounted tickets are available for every show. They can be be booked at the same time as buying other tickets but these tickets must be booked direct at each venue’s box office. For Essential Companion tickets please email us at info@englishfolkexpo.com

The recommended lower age for gigs is generally dependent on the individual venue’s own policy. You can find this on the listing for each gig.
Events specifically aimed at younger children or families will be advertised as such.
