Manchester Folk Festival takes place across several venues around the centre of Manchester. We aim to make sure that all venues are accessible. Please click on each venue below to find out the venue access information. Getting here

Our Festival Hub is at Band on the Wall in the Northern Quarter

We highly encourage taking public transport to reduce the carbon footprint of the festival.

BUS: The nearest Bus Stations are Shudehill Transport Interchange (0.2 miles away) and  Piccadilly Gardens Bus Station (0.4 miles away).

TRAIN: Band on the Wall is located between Manchester’s main train stations, Piccadilly and Victoria. From Piccadilly Station it’s a walk of 0.7 miles and from Victoria 0.4 miles.

TRAM: The nearest Metrolink stops are Market Street and Piccadilly Gardens, and at Shudehill. All stops are less than 0.4 miles from the venue.

CAR: There are also 24hr NCP car parks within 600 yards of the venue:

  • NCP Printworks Car Park – Shudehill (M4 1EY)
  • Arndale Centre – High Street (M4 1EY)
